After fifteen years in the Shelby County School System, I finally made it home. My name is Donna Rasberry Harmon. I have taught seven years in fourth grade at Thompson Intermediate, eight years at Calera Intermediate in grades third, fourth, and fifth grade math, and now I am here. I graduated from Jemison High School and am so very grateful to finally be back home.
I have a son who is seventeen and a daughter who is thirteen. We live in the Mineral Springs Community on the family farm. My son loves horses. My daughter is involved in softball and loves to read. I have a bottle calf named Waylon whom I have spoiled. I do love to read a combination of children and adult literature. My favorite authors are Karen Kingsbury, Colleen Hoover, and Nicholas Sparks.
I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Library Media.
