Biography:
My name is Cherice Daniel. My husband, stepdaughter, and I reside in Calera. I graduated from Thorsby High School where I was a teacher’s aide for two years. During this experience, I discovered that I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated with my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo. I completed my internship in a second-grade class at Elvin Hill Elementary. This will be my sixteenth-year teaching at Jemison Elementary School. Jemison Elementary holds a special place in my heart since it is where I attended as a child. I feel that being a teacher is a great profession because I get to make a difference in the lives of children.
