I am a long-time resident of Chilton County, graduating from Thorsby High School. I attended the University of Montevallo where I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology, Masters in Secondary Education, and Masters in Instructional Leadership. I received my Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Alabama before graduating from Samford University with my doctorate in Educational Leadership.
I began my education career as a high school science teacher before joining JES as assistant principal. I served as assistant principal for 5 years. It is an honor to now be the Principal of Jemison Elementary School. Our school has the best staff and students around! I look forward to working with each of you and my door is always open.
